Privacy PolicyPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information you share through this website. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Last updated: July 2026.
This is not the same as her HIPAA notice
This policy covers visitors to this website only. It does not cover clinical records or protected health information.
If you become a client of Dr. Lily Zehner, LLC, your clinical information is governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which you will receive and review during your first session. That document — not this one — governs your therapy records.
What this site collects
What you type into the contact form. Your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, your preferred contact method and times, and whatever you write in the message field.
Basic technical information. Like nearly all websites, our host records standard server information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
What this site does not collect
- No user accounts and no passwords — there is nothing to register for.
- No payments, credit card numbers, or billing information are processed on this website.
- No mailing list or newsletter signup.
- No advertising trackers, no retargeting pixels, and no cookies used to follow you across other websites.
The contact form is not a secure channel
Please do not include detailed health information, clinical history, or anything you consider confidential in the contact form. It is transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered by email, but email is not a secure or HIPAA-compliant medium.
Use the form for logistics — who you are and how to reach you. Everything else is better discussed once we connect through a secure channel.
Submitting the form does not create a therapist–client relationship.
How the information is used
Only to respond to you and schedule a consultation. It is not sold, rented, traded, or shared for anyone's marketing purposes. Ever.
Who else touches it
Netlify hosts this website and processes contact form submissions, then forwards them by email. Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, which involves a request to Google's servers. These providers have their own privacy policies.
How long it is kept
Form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable business records, and are deleted periodically. If you would like your inquiry deleted sooner, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Colorado residents have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
